How to Start a Return

Email us at support@diycraftsproject.com or use our Contact Us page within 30 days of delivery.
Include your order number, the item(s) you'd like to return and the reason. For damaged or incorrect items, attach clear photos.
Wait for our reply. We'll confirm your return and send you the return instructions. Please don't send items back without contacting us first, as unannounced parcels can be delayed or lost.
Get your refund. Once your return is approved (and received, for change-of-mind returns), we'll issue your refund within 24 hours.

Damaged, Faulty or Incorrect Items

If your order arrives damaged, faulty, incomplete, or doesn't match its description or photos on our website, we're sorry. Please email us photos of the item and packaging within 3 days of delivery, along with your order number.

Once we've reviewed your photos, we'll issue your refund within 24 hours.
You won't pay any return shipping for damaged, faulty or incorrect items.
In most cases you won't need to send the item back. If we do need it returned, we'll tell you how.

Change-of-Mind Returns

Changed your mind about an item that arrived as described and undamaged? You're welcome to return it within 30 days of delivery, as long as:

The item is unused, unopened where it was sealed, and in the same condition you received it.
It's in its original packaging, with any tags and accessories included.
You include your order number or proof of purchase.

Return shipping costs are paid by you, and original delivery charges are not refundable unless required by law. Please send your return with a tracked service and keep your tracking number. If a tracked return is lost in the post, you're still covered: just send us the tracking details and we'll refund you. Once we receive and check your item, we'll refund you to your original payment method within 24 hours.

Items That Can't Be Returned

Unless they arrive damaged, faulty or not as described, the following can't be returned:

Digital downloads, such as printables, patterns, SVG cut files and craft guides, once the files have been accessed or downloaded
Custom or personalized orders
Gift cards
Items that have been opened, used, cut, mixed or altered

Order Changes and Cancellations

Need to change or cancel an order? Contact us as soon as possible at support@diycraftsproject.com. Orders are processed within 1 business day, so we can't guarantee changes once an order has been dispatched, but we'll always do our best to help. If your order has already shipped, you can return it under our change-of-mind policy above.

Refund Timing

We issue all approved refunds within 24 hours. Your bank or card provider may then take a few business days (typically 3 to 10) to show the refund on your account. If you haven't seen your refund after 10 business days, please check with your bank first, then contact us and we'll look into it.

EU Customers: 14-Day Right of Withdrawal

If your order is delivered within the European Union, you have the legal right to cancel your order within 14 days of delivery, for any reason and without giving a justification. Our 30-day return window already covers this period. Items must be returned in the same condition you received them, unused and in their original packaging, with proof of purchase. For digital content, this right ends once you have started the download with your consent.

Your Statutory Rights

This policy does not affect your statutory rights as a consumer, including your rights under Irish and EU consumer law.
