Enjoy a Christmas gathering at your own pace with A Merry Little Gathering: ten printable party activities for adults, including word puzzles, a small logic puzzle and optional conversation games.
Question text is 18-point, with core instructions and host-guide text at least 16-point. Clear layouts leave room to write. Decorative labels and footers are smaller. Choose seated, untimed play, work in pairs or leave the scores aside.
THE TEN ACTIVITIES
1. Festive Word Jumbles - eight anagrams with a word bank.
2. Christmas Object Clues - eight clues with a shared answer bank.
3. Winter Word Search - eight words across or down.
4. Pick the One That Fits - six clear category or word-rule questions.
5. Crack the Festive Code - six number-coded words with a letter key.
6. The Gift-Table Puzzle - match four fictional friends to gifts and drinks.
7. Festive Categories - six open-answer prompts with fair scoring guidance.
8. Join the Festive Words - eight matching word beginnings and endings.
9. This or That? - eight optional conversation choices, without scores.
10. A Shared Christmas Story - six prompts for a kind, fictional group story.
WHAT YOU RECEIVE
- A4 player pack: 15 pages covering all ten activities.
- US Letter player pack: the same 15 pages in the alternative paper size.
- A4 host guide: 11 pages with a welcome script, short and longer running orders, fixed answers, examples for open answers, scoring guidance and a reusable score sheet to print.
Three separate PDF files. The two player sizes repeat the SAME activities, not twenty games. Some games span two pages to keep the print comfortably sized.
HOST YOUR WAY
Print only the games you choose. Games 1-8 can be scored for a total of 54 points. Games 9-10 have no correct answers and no points. The short suggested route scores games 1 and 8 only, for a maximum of 16 points. Shared winners are welcome; there is no compulsory tie-breaker, alcohol content or physical challenge.
PRINTING AND USE
Print single-sided at 100% / Actual Size using the file matching your paper. Supply pens or pencils. Do not reduce to two pages per sheet if you need the stated text size. Test one page first. These PDFs are static print-and-write files, not fillable forms or a delivered Canva template.
One purchaser may print for their own household or one community group they personally host. Repeated sessions for that same group are allowed. No resale, digital redistribution, school-wide distribution or commercial-event licence is included.
IMPORTANT
Digital files only: no physical packs, pens or prizes included. Large print does not guarantee suitability for every visual or reading need. No low-vision, dementia-friendly, therapeutic or accessibility certification is claimed. Offer help, read aloud, allow partners and let guests pass. Ask the purchase shop for help with your files.
